State Police Calls: DUI, Theft

CLEARFIELD CO., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to the following calls:

DUI in Sandy Township

Around 7:15 p.m. on April 26, DuBois-based State Police stopped a 2004 Buick Rendezvous at South Brady Street and Forest View Drive in Sandy Township, Clearfield County.

Police say the driver, 23-year-old Joseph McKee, of Sykesville, displayed signs of being impaired by a controlled substance and subsequently refused a legal blood draw at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Charges are pending.

Theft in Troutville Borough

Police say an unknown individual(s) removed a 4X10 plastic pipe, valued at $200.00, from a property on Oliver Lane/Troutville Sykesville Road in Troutville Borough, Clearfield County, belonging to a 72-year-old Luthersburg man.

There were no witnesses to the theft.

The investigation is ongoing.
