State Police Calls: Harassment Incidents, DUI, Minor Crash

JEFFERSON/CLEARFIELD CO., Pa. (EYT) – Area state police responded to the following calls:

Harassment in Big Run Borough

Around 8:29 a.m. on May 16, a known 27-year-old Big Run woman contacted Punxsutawney-based State Police to report an altercation that occurred on Railroad Street in Big Run Borough.

Police say the victim reported that 30-year-old Mark Rand, of Reynoldsville, shoved her to the ground and also kicked in the front door of her residence and “tore apart” the house.

Rand fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.

Harassment charges are pending.

Harassment in Reynoldsville Borough

Around 7:00 p.m. on May 19, DuBois-based State Police responded to a location on South 12th Street in Reynoldsville Borough for a report of a domestic incident.

Police say 29-year-old Danielle Roush, of Reynoldsville, and 34-year-old Daniel Allen, of Reynoldsville, were both charged with harassment.

DUI in Snyder Township

DuBois-based State Police say around 4:00 p.m. on May 20, a 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser operated by a known 32-year-old Brockway man was parked in a residence driveway on Rattlesnake Road in Snyder Township

According to police, the driver appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI.

The name of the driver was not released.

The investigation is ongoing.

One-Vehicle Crash in Union Township

DuBois-based State Police say around 7:52 p.m. on May 15, a 2019 Dodge Challenger was traveling eastbound on Interstate 80 in the right lane in Union Township when the driver lost control due to the wet roadway and struck a guide rail on the south side of the roadway.

No injuries were reported.
