State Police Calls: Harassment, Criminal Mischief, Theft of Services

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Harassment in Falls Creek Borough

On Wednesday, July 1, DuBois-based State Police took a report of harassment that reportedly occurred on Main Street in Falls Creek Borough.

Police say it was discovered that around 12:45 a.m. on July 1, 55-year-old Pauline Gregg, of Falls Creek, sent harassing text messages to a known 54-year-old Falls Creek woman.

Harassment charges against Gregg are pending.

Criminal Mischief in Falls Creek Borough

Police say around 4:31 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 35-year-old Molly Markievich, of DuBois, reportedly damaged a door at a residence belonging to a 62-year-old Punxsutawney woman on Short Street in Falls Creek Borough.

According to police, the estimated cost of the damaged property is $100.00.

Charges are pending through District Court 54-3-02.

Theft of Services in Reynoldsville Borough

According to police, around 12:00 p.m. on June 13, 31-year-old Philip Smith, of Brookville, reportedly disposed of approximately 12 garbage bags in a known 80-year-old Reynoldsville man’s scrap bin on Broadway Street in Reynoldsville Borough.

Charges are pending through District Court 54-3-02.
