State Police Calls: Area Man Cited Following Report of Disturbance in North Mahoning Township

JEFFERSON/INDIANA CO., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following incidents:

Area Man Cited Following Report of Disturbance in North Mahoning Township

PSP Punxsutawney received a report of a disturbance near State Route 119 in North Mahoning Township, Indiana County, at 11:27 a.m. on Monday, March 20.

Police say a 31-year-old Indiana man was cited with disorderly conduct.

The victim is a 22-year-old Spring Mills man.

The suspect’s name was not released.

The name of the suspect will be released upon the completion of court document filings.

DUI in Bell Township

PSP Punxsutawney stopped a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado on State Route 36 and Cherry Road in Bell Township, Jefferson County, for a summary traffic violation at 12:46 a.m. on Saturday, March 18.

Police say the suspect was found to driving under the influence of alcohol.

Charges will be filed pending blood results.
