State Police Calls: Assault, DUI

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Assault in Brockway Borough, Jefferson County

State police investigated an assault that occurred around 12:00 p.m. on March 26 at 694 Main Street, in Brockway Borough.

A known, adult DuBois man threatened a known, adult Brockway man.

Charges are pending through District Court 54-3-02.

The name of the perpetrator was not released.

No other information was provided.

DUI in Sandy Township, Clearfield County

Around 4:07 a.m. on March 25, state police were on daily patrol on State Route 255, just north of Interstate 80, in Sandy Township. A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for a traffic violation.

Further investigation revealed the suspect – a known, 18-year-old Dubois man – was under the influence of alcohol.

He was taken into custody for DUI.

Charges will be filed pending final blood results.

The name of the suspect was not released.
