State Police Calls: Child Abuse Investigation Underway in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON/CLEARFIELD CO., Pa. (EYT) – State police responded to the following calls:

DUI in Union Township

According to police, on June 25, a known 37-year-old Brookville woman was arrested for suspicion of DUI.

The woman’s name will be released upon the return of blood-alcohol testing.

Assault in Snyder Township

Police say around 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, August 12, a physical domestic altercation ensued at a location on Horizon Drive in Snyder Township.

According to police, a 49-year-old man was taken into custody without incident after it bruises were discovered on a juvenile.

The investigation is ongoing.

Harassment in Washington Township

Police say around 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, a physical altercation occurred between three known family members at a location on Sandstone Drive in Washington Township.

According to police, a vehicle was damaged in the process and charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 54-3-01.

The investigation is ongoing.
