State Police Calls: Drug Arrest, One-Vehicle Crash

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) — Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls.

Drug Paraphernalia

Police said around 12:40 p.m. on January 5, a known 29-year-old DuBois woman was found in possession of drug paraphernalia at the Jefferson County Jail in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.

The investigation is ongoing.

One Vehicle Accident

Police said Aaron F. Haskins, 66, of Smicksburg, was traveling northbound on State Route 210 in North Mahoning Township, Indiana County, when he lost control of his 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer while traveling downhill. The vehicle entered the southbound lane and then exited the roadway, crashing into a ditch.

Haskins was transported to Punxsutawney Hospital for suspected minor injuries.

The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front end and was towed from the scene by Rebuck’s South Side Service.

Perry Township Fire Department and Jefferson EMS assisted on the scene.
