State Police Calls: DUI’s, Harassment

State PoliceJEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – State Police report the following incidents in Jefferson County:

State Police Report DUI’s

~Punxsutawney-based State Police report a known male is facing charges of DUI following a traffic stop that occurred around 7:01 p.m. on June 6 along Benson Road in Young Township.

~In a separate incident, Punxsutawney State Police say Daniel L. Meadows of Burnside, Pa., is accused of DUI following a traffic stop along State Route 119 at around 10:20 p.m. on July 18.

The investigation is continuing.

~According to DuBois-based State Police, a Reynoldsville man is accused of DUI following a traffic stop on Friday, July 10.

Police say 53-year-old David Carl Malmgren, of Reynoldsville, was stopped for a summary traffic violation.

During the traffic stop, it was determined that Malmgren was allegedly DUI.

Charges are pending.

Police Investigating Harassment

Police report an unknown individual has been harassing a known 16-year-old Timblin male by calling the victim over a two year period.

The investigation continues.
