State Police Calls: DUI, Harassment

State PoliceCLEARFIELD CO., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to the following calls:

DUI in Sandy Township

Around 12:43 a.m. on March 18, a known, 26-year-old Reynoldsville man was stopped for several summary traffic violations.

During the stop and while speaking with the man, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was evident on his breath, police say.

He was subsequently arrested for summary traffic charges and DUI, pending blood results.

DUI in DuBois

Around 12:23 a.m. on March 17, a known, 31-year-old DuBois man was stopped for a traffic violation.

Upon interview with the suspect, and further investigation, it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested without incident.

Charges will be filed with District Court 46-3-01.

Harassment in Union Township

Around 11:30 p.m. on March 15, police responded to a bar located on Rockton Mountain Highway in Union Township for the report of a physical altercation between two males.

The suspect – a known 29-year-old Rockton man – was requested to leave the establishment prior to the officer’s arrival.

The victim – a known, 58-year-old Rockton man – refused to cooperate in the investigation and declined to file charges in the matter.
