State Police Calls: DUI, Harassment

state_policeJEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Pennsylvania State Police responded to the following calls:

Brockway Man Arrested for DUI in Polk Township

POLK TWP., Pa. – DuBois-based State Police investigated a DUI incident which occurred around 10:42 on November 13 on Bond Road, in Polk Township, Jefferson County.

PA Game Commission Officers were traveling north on Bond Road when they noticed a vehicle parked on their side of the roadway facing them with the vehicle running.

The officers stopped to make sure the motorist – a known, 34-year-old Brockway man – needed any assistance. Upon interview with the driver and further investigation, it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol.

The officers notified PSP DuBois and the suspect was arrested for DUI without incident.

Charges will be filed with District Court 54-3-02.

Harassment Reported in Rose Township

ROSE TWP., Pa. – An incident of harassment occurred around 7:50 p.m. on November 14 on State Route 36, in Rose Township, Jefferson County.

Two known Brookville men – ages 18 and 19 – engaged in a physical altercation at the above described location.

Charges are pending on both individuals in Magisterial District Court 54-3-03.
