State Police Calls: Investigation Launched Into Multiple Damaged Vehicles, Trailer, and Other Items in Knox Township

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following incidents:

Investigation Launched Into Multiple Damaged Vehicles, Trailer, and Other Items in Knox Township

According to a report released by PSP Punxsutawney, a known individual caused damage to two motor vehicles, a horse trailer, a small trailer, and other miscellaneous items in the 200 block of Golden Hill Lane in Knox Township, Jefferson County, around 2:08 p.m. on October 24.

Police say the cost of the damages is still undetermined.

Among the damaged items were a Zimmerman lane street sign, a mailbox attached to a metal pole, and a mailbox attached to a wooden pole.

The damaged vehicles are listed as a Chevrolet Silverado and a 2012 Toyota Highlander.

The victims are listed as the following:

– 37-year-old male, of Brookville
– 34-year-old female, of Brookville
– 53-year-old male, of Brookville
– 25-year-old female, of Brookville
– 66-year-old male, of Brookville

The investigation is ongoing.

Troopers Respond to Report of Retail Theft

PSP Punxsutawney responded to Walmart on State Route 119 in Young Township, Jefferson County, for a report of a retail theft around 5:32 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15.

Police say a Rowenta Ultimate+ Steam Iron (value $90.58) was reported stolen.

According to police, no charges will be forthcoming.
