State Police Calls: Harassment, DUI, Deceptive Business Practices, Underage Drinking, PFA Violation

state_policeJEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Harassment in Winslow Township

According to State Police, a harassment incident occurred around 3:00 p.m. on October 25, at a location on Vo-Tech Road, in Winslow Township.

Police say a 15-year-old DuBois female victim was harassed via communications sent from an unknown suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.

DUI in Winslow Township

According to police, a DUI incident occurred around 4:55 a.m. on November 6, along S. Pancoast Road in Winslow Township.

State Police responded to a report of a vehicle stuck off the roadway. Upon arrival, it was reportedly determined that the known 17-year-old Reynoldsville juvenile driver was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

Charges are pending blood results.

Deceptive Business Practices in Winslow Township

State Police say deceptive business practices occurred at Lakelawn Memorial Park, in Reynoldsville, Winslow Township.

According to police, the 71-year-old female victim signed a contract with Lakelawn Cemetery on March 12, 2007, purchasing a bronze marker and granite base. The victim paid a total of $2,355.00.

As of November 8, 2016, police say the granite stone and bronze marker have not been ordered or placed at the intended grave site.

Prosecution is declined in this case due to the fact that the incident is beyond the five-year statute of limitations.

Underage Drinking in Brady Township, Clearfield County

State Police reported receiving a complaint around 9:20 p.m. on November 5, in reference to an underage drinking party near Tower Lane in Brady Township

Upon police arrival, it was determined that Hunter J. Connor, 19, of Luthersburg, Dylan L. Brown, 18, of Troutville, and Tyler B. Hilliard, 20, of DuBois, had allegedly consumed alcohol.

Charges were filed through District Judge Ford’s office.

Protection from Abuse Violation in Falls Creek Borough, Clearfield County

According to police, a Protection from Abuse (PFA) violation occurred at a residence in Falls Creek around 7:06 a.m. on November 7.

State Police say the incident occurred when Alfred Jensen, 30, of DuBois, allegedly sent a known 30-year-old female victim a text message, which contained information not allowed by the PFA.

Jensen was taken into custody, arraigned, and placed in the Jefferson County Jail.
