State Police Calls: Prescription Drugs Stolen from Brookville Residence

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls:

DUI in Punxsutwaney Borough

A known 25-year-old man was stopped for a summary traffic violation on West Mahoning Street near the Punxsutawney Plaza on April 7, at approximately 12:39 a.m. During the traffic stop, the man was determined to be driving under the influence. Charges are pending.

DUI in Glen Campbell Borough, Indiana County

After being stopped for a summary traffic violation on April 7, around 5:13 p.m., on Glenwood Avenue, a known 55-year-old man was suspected of driving under the influence. Upon further investigation, he was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and related paraphernalia. Charges are pending.

Theft in Brookville

Prescription drugs were stolen from inside a Brookville residence on March 30, at approximately 4:00 p.m., by an unknown person. This incident remains under investigation.
