State Police Calls: Theft, Burglary

state_policeJEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Theft in North Mahoning Township

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, an incident of Theft occurred April 1 at a location on Mottarn Road in North Mahoning Township.

Police say a 64-year-old Rochester Mills man reported that an unknown suspect(s) allegedly stole a MoneyGram between 3:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on the above date.

No further details were released.

Porter Township Burglary

Punxsutawney-based State Police say an alleged Burglary occurred sometime between 8:00 a.m. April 13 and 4:05 p.m. April 18 in Porter Township.

According to police, an unknown suspect(s) allegedly entered a residence on East Market Street and removed belongings.

No further details were released.

Police Investigate Medications Stolen from Residence in Bell Township

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, an incident of Theft occurred around 1:20 p.m. April 19 in Bell Township.

Police say a victim reported that a male suspect allegedly removed medications from his residence on State Route 119 then fled the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.

The identity of the suspect was not released.
