State Police Calls: Theft from Motor Vehicle, Theft of Services

State Police patchJEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Police Seek Information on Pistol Stolen from Vehicle in Rose Twp.

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, an incident of theft from a motor vehicle occurred sometime between April 11 and April 13, at a location on Spencer Drive, in Rose Township.

Police say the incident occurred as an unknown actor(s) removed a Smith and Wesson M&P 9 mm pistol from a 26-year-old Brookville woman’s 2005 Chevrolet Silverado.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact PSP Punxsutawney at 814-938-0510.

Police Investigate Theft of Services in Knox Twp.

Punxsutawney-based State Police say an incident of theft of services occurred on April 18, at a location on Markton Road, in Knox Township.

According to police, the incident occurred when a known suspect disposed of three ink cartridges in a dumpster belonging to a 56-year-old Brookville woman.

The name of the suspect was not released.

The investigation is ongoing.
