State Police Calls: Theft of Catalytic Converters, Scam

Clearfield-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Stolen Catalytic Converters

PSP Clearfield are actively investigating an incident in which five catalytic converters were stolen.

According to police, an unknown actor(s) removed approximately five catalytic converters from salvaged vehicles owned by the victim sometime between Wednesday, April 20, and Sunday, April 30.

The victim is listed as a 60-year-old Coalport man.

Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police at 814-857-3800.

Theft Through Scam

Clearfield-based State Police received a report regarding theft through a scam to a Morrisdale man.

Police say the victim, a known 34-year-old man, lost roughly $600.00.

According to police, the money was sent to CIR Kolex Online.
