State Police Calls: Woman Allegedly Raped Multiple Times in Jefferson County

The following information was released by Dubois-based State Police on Saturday, October 14, 2017.

Rape Investigation in Snyder Township

A rape investigation is underway in Snyder Township, Jefferson County.

Police say a known female alleges she was raped various times at multiple undisclosed locations within Snyder Township.

Trooper Strishock is the lead investigator on the case.

No further details are being released at this time.

Statuatory Sexual Assault Case Closed

Trooper Strishock investigated a sexual assault that was alleged to have occurred in Brady Township, Clearfield County.

Following the investigation, it was determined that the sexual assault claims were unfounded.

The case has been closed.

Drug Arrest

A known 27-year-old male was arrested on drug-related DUI charges following a traffic stop on October 10 around 6:19 p.m.

Police say the suspect was determined to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance while operating the vehicle on Smith Road in Brady Township, Clearfield County.
