Local Woman Faces DUI Charges After Traffic Stop

A Reynoldsville woman has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) following a traffic stop in Winslow Township, Jefferson County, as reported by the Pennsylvania State Police Punxsutawney Patrol Unit.

The incident occurred on the evening of February 10, 2024, at 8:05 PM. The 40-year-old female driver was pulled over for multiple Title 75 violations on Reynlow Park Rd/Sportsman Dam Rd.

During the traffic stop, troopers observed indicators of impairment. Subsequently, they conducted Standardized Field Sobriety Tests roadside. Based on the results of these tests, the woman was placed under arrest for driving under the influence.

The woman was driving a 2017 Jeep Wrangler at the time of the incident. Charges against her are currently pending.

Former Employee Investigated for Shoplifting at Walmart

A former employee of Walmart in Indiana, PA, is facing charges of retail theft, according to a report by the Pennsylvania State Police – Indiana Patrol Unit.

The incident, which occurred on February 9, 2024, at 3:22 PM, is now being investigated by the troopers from the Indiana Patrol Unit. The 23-year-old man is accused of stealing a $30 Walmart gift card.

The charges were filed through District Court 40-3-02. The Pennsylvania State Police are continuing their investigation into this incident.
