State Police Investigating Missing Firearms

PINE CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police recently initiated an investigation after multiple firearms were reported missing in Pine Creek Township.

According to a release issued Tuesday, Punxsutawney-based State police received a report around 10:11 a.m. on April 1 indicating firearms were missing from a location along Butler Cemetery Road.

The missing firearms include:

– A Beebe Arms Co. brand Marlin or Remington XT-22
– Deringer, Henry, Sr. & Jr. chrome color D38C Derringer 38.

The victim is listed as a known 59-year-old Reynoldsville man.

The investigation is ongoing.
