State Police Make Multiple DUI Arrests

Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following incidents:

DUI in Winslow Township

PSP Punxsutawney conducted a traffic stop on a 2016 Subaru WRX/STI for a summary traffic violation around 2:05 a.m. on Sunday, July 17, near Reynoldsville Sykesville Road and Shinbone Road, in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

Upon further investigation, the arrestee was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Charges will be filed pending blood results.

DUI in Punxsutawney

Punxsutawney-based State Police stopped a 2013 Ford F-150XLT in the area of Jenks Avenue and Beyer Avenue in Punxsutawney Borough, Jefferson County, around 2:22 a.m. on Saturday, July 16.

After investigation, the arrestee was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Charges will be filed pending blood results.

DUI Crash in Burnside Township

On Saturday, July 16, around 12:05 a.m., members of PSP Punxsutawney responded to investigate a one-vehicle DUI-related crash along Ridge Road, in Burnside Township, Clearfield County.

The vehicle is listed as a 2010 Chevrolet.

Charges are pending toxicology reports.

Traffic Violation Leads to DUI Arrest in Big Run

PSP Punxsutawney stopped a 2006 Dodge Caravan along Mill Street Road, in Big Run Borough, Jefferson County, after observing a traffic violation around 10:59 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29.

Police say the male driver of the vehicle displayed indicators of impairment and was subsequently placed under arrest for driving under the influence.

The investigation is ongoing pending toxicology reports.
