State Police Probe Deer Theft in Jefferson County

540933_386575664745538_1528953074_nWINSLOW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police are investigating the theft of a deer from a hunting refuge in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

DuBois-based State Police say the incident happened between November 28 and December 6 when someone entered the Rathmel Run Game and Bird Hunting Refuge by cutting through a fence.

Once inside the refuge, the perpetrator removed a deer and fled the scene.
