State Police Respond to Two-Vehicle Collision in Knox Township

KNOX TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon in Knox Township.

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, 58-year-old Gregory L. Notto and 62-year-old Richard O. Steel, both of Brookville, were involved in the collision.

Police say the accident occurred around 3:37 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, on Main Street, at its intersection with Knox Dale Road, in Brookville, Knox Township, Jefferson County.

A 2017 Ford Fusion driven by Notto was at the stop sign at the intersection to make a left turn to travel east onto Main Street, and according to police, made a turn without yielding to Steel’s 2011 Ford F150 Commonwealth Vehicle, that was traveling west on Main Street.

Notto and Steel were using seat belts, and no injuries were reported.

Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
