State Police: Rottweiler Shot in Banks Township

investigationBANKS TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say an incident of animal cruelty occurred on Hemlock Lake Road, in Banks Township, Indiana County.

On January 29, PSP Punxsutawney was contacted in regards to a reported animal cruelty incident in which a Rottweiler was shot.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on January 27.

The investigation is ongoing.
