State Police Seize over $42 Million in Heroin, Marijuana, Other Drugs in 3rd Qtr

state_policeHARRISBURG, Pa. – Pennsylvania State Police yesterday announced troopers seized over $42 million in heroin, marijuana and other prohibited drugs in the third quarter of 2015.

In the third quarter of 2015, troopers seized over 416 pounds of cocaine and over 47 pounds of heroin with a combined approximate street value of $34 million. In addition, state police seized over 15 pounds of methamphetamines valued at over $720,000 and over 1,500 pounds of marijuana with an estimated value over $4.5 million.

In 2014, the state police seized over $107 million in prohibited drugs.
