JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – PA State Police released the following warning concerning an IRS scam:
Police say county residents have been receiving several phone calls from an individual claiming that they owe the IRS money.
The callers are threatening that law enforcement will be notified they they fail to pay.
All of the calls are a scam. Do not provide any personal information to the callers.
Law enforcement officials are aware of the IRS scam.
