Stephanie Lynn Huey

Stephanie Lynn Huey, 23, of Reynoldsville died Friday, October 24, 2014, at home with her loving family.

She was born May 13, 1991 in DuBois, a daughter of Frederick Victor and Linda Kaye (Vida) Huey.

Stephanie was 2009 graduate.

She was a Certified Nursing Assistant, and also an Origami Owl Designer.

Her enjoyments were walking in the forest, going to the Zoo, mini golf, shopping, driving, puzzles, photography, and hoped to one day do scrap 7booking.

Stephanie was an inspiration to others through her valiant upbeat approach to her illness and difficulties. She surprised others on a couple different occasions when things were not in her favor, and she awoke to say “I’m so darn cute.” No one could disagree with her.

She is loved and will be missed dearly.

Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Brenda D. Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Brookville.

A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Ken Sherwood.

In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by four brothers, Kevin Huey of Rockton, Mark Huey and fiance Kelsey Knisley of DuBois, Dave Huey and wife Karen of Big Run, and Bob Huey of Hazen; two sisters, Sandy Huey of Hazen and Lisa Wiggin and husband Brian of Richardsville; and her devoted boyfriend Jeremy Dagostino of Johnstown.

Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William and Mildred Huey; maternal grandparents, Louis and Loula Vida.

Interment will be at Rockton Cemetery, Clearfield County.

Stephanie’s family requests that everyone wear bright, vibrant clothing to her funeral service.
