Stephen M. Boddorf

Stephen M. Boddorf, 57 of Summerville, PA, went to be with the Lord Thursday December 11, 2014 at Penn Highlands Healthcare in DuBois, PA.

Born October 12, 1957 in Brookville, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Barbara Keck Boddorf.

Steve was a graduate of Brookville Area High School. On February 14, 2005 Steve was married to Doris Jean Pago at the Hawthorn Methodist Church. She survives in Summerville. Steve was employed at Beverage Air in Brookville as a class A machine operator. He would have been employed 39 years in January.

Steve was a member of the Summerville Borough Council and the Summerville Municipal Authority. He enjoyed spending time reading God’s word and attending church and Sunday School. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, reading, and he was an avid Steeler fan.

Along with his wife, Steve is survived by a son; Benjamin (Casey) Boddorf of Brookville; a stepson, Chris (Bobbie) Myers of Emlenton; a daughter, Kelly (Jake) Stormer of Summerville; two stepdaughters, Melanie Theiss of Strattanville, Chasity (Dave) Myers of Emlenton, and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters; Cathy (Rod) Rowles, Mary (Terry) Mauk, and Susan (Tim) Haugh, all of Summerville.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by an infant sister Debra.

His family will receive friends on Saturday December 13, 2014, from 6 – 8 pm and Sunday December 14, 2014, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm at the Furlong Funeral Home, Gregory K. Furlong FD, corner of Broad St. and First Ave., Summerville.

The funeral service will be held at the First Church of God in Brookville, on Monday December 15, 2014 at 11 am with Pastor Henry Scoff officiating.
