Stephen M. Russo

Stephen M. Russo, 50, DuBois, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Born March 31, 1972, in Norristown, PA, he was the son of Richard Russo and Janice (Cowher) Russo. They survive.

In 1990, Steve began dating Rebecca (Monte) Russo.

On October 16, 2004, he married his love at Lakeside United Methodist Church. She survives.

Steve graduated from the DuBois Area High School in 1990, where he was voted “Class Clown”.

Presently, he was employed by GKN Sinter Metals as a maintenance lead.

He was previously employed by Osburn’s for 20 years and as a police officer for a brief time in both DuBois and Clearfield.

Steve enjoyed hunting and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

He was active in local school board affairs and loved attending school sporting events.

Steve loved talking to people and was a great, reliable friend to all lucky enough to have known him.

Above all else, Steve loved spending time with his family, especially taking care of his beloved daughters.

In addition to his parents and wife, Stephen is survived by his daughters, Natalie and Lindsey Russo, DuBois, his siblings, Richard (Linda) Russo, Grampian, and Desiree (Ken) Calliari, Penfield, father- and mother-in-law, Terrance and Diane (Donaldson) Monte, sister-in-law, Cheryl (Monte) Miller, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Time of Gathering will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. from the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
