Stolen Truck Recovered by PSP Punxsy

BANKS TWP., Indiana Co., Pa. (EYT) – State Police are seeking information on a truck that was stolen in northern Indiana County and later recovered in western Clearfield County.

On Sunday, April 5, Punxsutawney-based State Police were dispatched to a report of a stolen vehicle on Fire Tower Road in Banks Township, Indiana County.

The victim, a 58-year-old Mahaffey man, reported his black 2013 Chevrolet Silverado was last seen on Saturday, April 4, around 11:00 p.m.

According to police, the vehicle was later recovered in Mahaffey Borough, Clearfield County.

Police say a Garmin GPS, valued at $200.00, a crate of hand tools and straps, valued at $50.00, and approximately $30.00 in change were also discovered stolen from the victim’s garage and vehicle.
