Strattanville Fireman’s Day Celebration Set for June 11

STRATTANVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Strattanville Volunteer Fire Company will host its third annual Strattanville Fireman’s Day celebration on Saturday, June 11.

The event proceeds will benefit the Strattanville Volunteer Fire Company’s new fire truck.

“I appreciate all of the support from the local community and anyone else that has helped us out,”  said Michelle Reid, who helps run the Fireman’s Day.

The events include:

  • 9:00 a.m.: Dice Run
  • 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Craft/Vendor Sale and Chinese Auction
  • 10:00 a.m.: Kids Bike-a-Thon
  • 12:00 p.m.: Chicken BBQ (Chicken, macaroni salad, scalloped potatoes and roll)
  • 1:00 p.m.: Fire Truck Rides
  • 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Carnival Games and Face Painting
  • 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: Painting Party – BYOB ($35 registration fee)
  • 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.: Dance featuring one-night reunion of the Honeybadgers
  • 9:00 p.m.: Beef Raffle Drawing
