Taylor, Dush Run Unopposed for the 66th Legislative District Seat

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Both the Democratic and the Republican candidates for the 66th Legislative District seat ran unopposed in Tuesday’s primary.

Democrat Kerith Strano Taylor and Republican Cris Dush will both appear on the November ballot.

Dush is seeking re-election.

In the 63rd District, Donna Oberlander, of Clarion, ran unopposed on the GOP ticket.

Although there were no democratic nominees listed for the Democratic ballot for the 63rd District, there were 903 unofficial write-in votes in the 40 precincts in Clarion County.

One write-in candidate for the 63rd District, Conrad Warner, announced at Spring Clarion County Democratic Dinner that he was running as a write-in candidate in the primary.

Warner, a teacher at Keystone Area School District, voiced his hopes to challenge incumbent state representative Donna Oberlander in the November general elections.
