Teen Driver Escapes Injury in One-Car Crash in Pine Township

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225PINE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say a one-car accident occurred on Interstate 80 West, near mile marker 108.2, in Pine Township, Clearfield County.

According to police, around 4:31 p.m. on June 19, 19-year-old Luke Russell, of Mentor, OH, was traveling in the west lane of I-80 and lost control of his 2006 Toyota Corolla.

The car crashed off the south side of the roadway.

Russell was using a seat belt and was not injured.

He was charged with a traffic violation.
