Brookville Teen Escapes Injury in One-Vehicle Crash

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a 17-year-old male from Brookville was involved in a one-car accident on Fuller Road, south of State Route 322, in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.

Police say the accident happened on February 20 around 7:20 a.m. when a 17-year-old male from Brookville was traveling north on Fuller Road and lost control of his 1994 Buick Park Avenue on the snow covered and slippery roadway, while traveling down a hill.

The teen’s car began to slide, crossed through the southbound lane of travel, and struck the embankment with the front portion of his car.

His vehicle came to rest on the embankment facing west.

The teen was using a seat belt and was not injured.

His car sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.

He was charged with a traffic violation in District Court 54-3-03.
