Teen Escapes Injury in One-Car Crash in Union Township

policeUNION TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police say around 8:38 a.m. on May 21, a one-car accident occurred on Interstate 80 West, near mile marker 74.5, in Union Township, Jefferson County.

According to DuBois-based State Police, 18-year-old Kant Jiang, of Weirton, WV, was traveling west on I-80, negotiating a left curve in the roadway; his 2013 Honda Accord traveled off the north side of the road and impacted the guard rail.

Jiang was using a seat belt and was not injured.

He was charged with a traffic violation.

Corsica Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
