CHEST TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 7:00 a.m. on April 28, a one-vehicle accident occurred on Barrons Road, in Chest Township, Clearfield County.
According to police, a 16-year-old Flinton, Pa., male was travelling too fast for the left curve in the roadway and drove onto the right shoulder.
The teen over-corrected which caused his 1999 Chevrolet Blazer to spin, striking the right side embankment. The vehicle then rolled over, police say.
The teen was using a seat belt and was not injured.
He was charged with a traffic violation.
