GREENWOOD TWP., Pa. — A teen was killed Sunday in a head-on collision in Clearfield County after sliding on an icy patch in the roadway and into oncoming traffic.
Adrienne J. Stucke, 19, was driving a 2004 Mazda 6 on Route 219 and slid on a patch of ice into the path of the north-bound lane, according to police.
Stucke suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
Brent A. Conklin, 39, was the driver of the Ford F-150 that Stucke hit head on.
He received minor injuries and was taken to DuBois hospital by ambulance, according to sources.
Jefferson D. Thomas, 22, was a passenger in Stucke’s vehicle, and suffered major injuries.
He was flown to Altoona Hospital.
Both vehicles sustained major damage.
