Theft of Firewood Reported in Warsaw Township

State Police patchWARSAW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in DuBois say an incident of theft, criminal mischief, and criminal trespass took place in Warsaw Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, sometime between 10:00 a.m. on September 26 and 12:00 p.m. on September 27, unknown perpetrator(s) removed two red and gray six-feet tall “T” posts beside a gated lane along Gilbert Road, in Warsaw Township.

Once the posts were removed, the perpetrator(s) utilized a vehicle to enter posted private property to remove about four truckloads of firewood, then fled the scene, police say.

The victim is Siltop Visions LLC of Port Matilda.
