Theodore “Ted” Alvin Weaver

Ted WeaverTheodore “Ted” Alvin Weaver, 87, of Lone Tree, passed away on Friday, December 11.

He was born on April 3, 1928, and raised in Punxsutawney, Pa. He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Engineering.

Ted dedicated much of his life to the Army, first in active duty, continuing his service in the Army Reserves. He retired as Colonel in 1993.

A beloved father, husband, and friend to many, he is survived by his loving wife, Kil Ja; daughters, Karen Stamy, and Leslie Kois and their husbands, Rick Stamy and Gary Kois; three grandchildren, Samuel Stamy (21), Alexandra Stamy (16) and Hannah Kois (19), and extended family members.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 6322 S. Lakeview St. in Littleton on Thursday, December 17 at 12 noon.

Military services will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
