Theresa Marie Ponzi Puterbaugh, 39, of DuBois, PA, died on Monday, March 12, 2018 at her home.
Born on July 13, 1978, in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of Tom and Patti (Johnson) Ponzi. Her parents survive.
On October 15, 2016, she married, the love of her life Jason Puterbaugh in DuBois. He survives.
She was a 1996 graduate of the DuBois Area High School and a 1998 graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of Cosmetology.
Theresa was a hair stylist and worked at A Style For You where she had many friends who loved her.
Theresa was loved by many and a joy to all who knew her. She was very active with the DuBois Area Marching Band Boosters and was like a mom to all her band kids and much a part of the band family.
Theresa is also survived by her son, Shane Ponzi at home; her sister, Michelle Lindholm and her husband David of Brockway, PA; nephews, Trevor Murray and Matthew Reasinger, niece, Salem Murray; several aunts and uncles and her many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Andy Ponzi, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. from the Treasure Lake Church with Pastor Dick Whitaker officiating.
Burial will be in St. Catherine Cemetery.
Although flowers are appreciated, memorials may be placed with the Shane Ponzi Education Fund, c/o Jessica Runyon, S&T Bank, 614 Liberty Blvd., DuBois, PA 15801.
