Three Accused of Encouraging One-Year-Old to Smoke Weed

YOUNG TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say three Delancey residents allegedly encouraged a one-year-old girl to smoke marijuana at a residence located on Adrian Road, in Young Township, Jefferson County.

The incident took place around 4:00 p.m. on February 17, police say.

According to police, the following Delancey individuals engaged in drug activity in the presence of a known fifteen female, a known one year-old female, and a known six month-old female – all of Delancey.

  • 40-year-old Thomas J. Fenstermaker
  • 22-year-old Kimberly R. Fenstermaker
  • 36-year-old Leanne J. Clark

Police say on at least one occasion, the one year-old girl was allegedly encouraged to participate in smoking marijuana through a glass pipe.

The three suspects are facing the following charges in District Court 54-3-01:

  • Endangering the Welfare of Children
  • Corruption of Minors

The investigation is ongoing and further charges regarding the Act 64 violations are anticipated in the near future.
