PINE CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 10:50 p.m. on October 23, a one-vehicle crash occurred on Route 1830, at its intersection with Waterfall Lane, in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, 20-year-old Christian A. Tetlow, of Brookville, was traveling north on Route 1830 when he failed to negotiate a curve to the right.

Police say his 2009 Chevrolet Silverado traveled off the west side of the roadway and hit an embankment and went airborne.

The pickup then hit a ditch, rotated approximately 180 degrees counterclockwise, and came to a final rest off the west side of the roadway, facing south, according to police.

Tetlow and two passengers – 21-year-old Dylan J. Zimmerman and 24-year-old Zackery G. Hughey, both of Brookville – suffered injuries of unknown severity, police say.

All three were life-flighted to Altoona Hospital.

None of the men were using seat belts, according to police.

Pine Creek Fire Department and Jefferson County EMS assisted at the scene.

This investigation remains open pending further investigation by PSP Punxsutawney.
