Thresa R. ‘Tickie’ Yeager, 82, of Clearfield died on Monday, October 11, 2021 at her home.
She was born on February 28, 1939 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Lou and Ruth (Hugney) McGovern.
Tickie retired as a traveling sales consultant with Kurtz Brothers.
After retirement, she worked for Way’s Office Plus, DuBois.
Tickie enjoyed her flowers, church, trips to Canada, and time spent with her grandkids.
She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas Robin Yeager and wife Suzy of Penfield, and Shawn Allen Yeager of Clearfield; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn ‘Gus’ A. Yeager on February 28, 2020. She was also preceded in death by a son, Scott Allen Yeager; and two brothers, Tom McGovern and Don McGovern Sr.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Friday at 6 PM with Rev. Mark S. Brower officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 2-6 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge #540, Clearfield 301 North Second Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
