Tia Marie Dobson, 30 of Knoxdale, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016.
Tia was born February 1, 1986 in Brookville, a daughter of the late James S. Dobson and Connie F. (Jeffries) Piekielek of Rossiter who survives.
Tia was a Registered Nurse and was awarded a pin for the Most Loving & Compashionate Nurse by her nursing school. She was Salutatorian at school and missed Valedictorian by only a .05 margin. She was a devoted and caring mother who adored her children and always put them first. Her beautiful smile and caring nature won her many friends who will miss her deeply. She was a loving Mother, daughter, aunt and friend.
In addition to her mother Connie, she is survived by three children; Majayla Dobson, Tyger Dobson and Jaden Mille all of Knoxdale, one brother; Joshua Dobson and wife Audrey of Anita, one sister; Shannon Dobson of Rossiter, maternal grandmother; Christina Mullins of Knoxdale, maternal grandfather; Homer Jeffries of Punxsutawney, paternal grandfather; Howard Dobson of New York, five nephews and one niece. Also her dog “Dudley”.
In addition to her father James, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother; Rosalind Fisher-Pearce.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Sunday, February 14, at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday, February 15 at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Bidell officiating.
Interment is private.
