Top Three Teams Remain the Same in D9Sports.com Football Rankings

football-fieldCLARION, Pa. – While the top three teams remain the same in the September 28 District 9 Top 10 Football Rankings, the remainder of the rankings are jumbled from last week including a new team entering the Top 10.

Elk County Catholic (5-0), following a 20-13 win over previously unbeaten Curwensville, moves into the ranking for the first time at No. 8, while Ridgway (5-0) and Redbank Valley (5-0) both moved up one spot to No. 4 and No. 5 respectively. Also Clearfield (3-2) jumped from No. 9 to No. 6 following a win over previous No. 4 Brockway (4-1) which dropped the Rovers to No. 7. Kane (4-1) fell from No. 8 to No. 9 after a one-point loss to Ridgway, and Curwensville (4-1) fell from No. 7 to No. 10 following the loss to ECC. Moniteau (4-1) fell out of the Top 10 after being blown out by Karns City (5-0), who remains No. 1. Clarion (4-1) and DuBois (3-2) also kept the second and third spots respecitively following blowout wins.
