Tractor Trailer Accident Shuts Down I-80 in Clearfield County

PINE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say a two-vehicle accident occurred on November 25, at 10:19 p.m., on Interstate 8 eastbound, in Pine Township, Clearfield County.

Police say this crash occurred at mile marker 109.5 as a tractor trailer struck the rear end of another.

After impact, one of the trailers lost its load of auto parts which were strewn about the roadway.

Both eastbound lanes were shut down to allow for the towing of the trucks and trailers and cleanup of the roadway, according to police.

Traffic was detoured with the assistance PennDOT and local fire department personnel.

An investigation of the accident continues.

No injuries were reported.
