Traffic Stop in Pinecreek Township Leads to Drug Arrest

PINECREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say an Indiana man has been accused of DUI and drug possession following a traffic stop conducted on Interstate 80 in Pinecreek Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, on April 7, 36-year-old Richard Kyle Stockdale, of Mishawaka, IN, was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was stopped for a traffic violation near the 80.6 mile marker of I-80 eastbound.

It was later allegedly determined that Stockdale had recently smoked marijuana and was suspected of operating a motor vehicle with the drug in his system, police say.

Charges have been filed with District Court 54-3-03.
