SYKESVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Dubois-based State Police say around 1:05 p.m. on March 10, a man was arrested for drug charges on East Main Street (US Route 119), in Sykesville Borough, Jefferson County.
According to police, Russell Scott Shick, 57, of Beccaria, was involved in a routine traffic stop on East Main Street, near Doctor Fugate Drive in Sykesville.
Police say it was determined he was labeled as a Habitual Offender by PennDOT for multiple “Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked” violations.
During the stop, he was also allegedly found to be in possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia, according to police.
Shick was arrested for related vehicle code violations and drug offense charges.
