Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges in Brookville

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Police say a routine traffic stop lead conducted in Brookville Borough recently led to drug charges being filed against a passenger in the vehicle.

Around 11:23 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, Brookville Borough Police conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation in Brookville Borough.

Police say during the investigation, it was found that one of the passengers in the vehicle was in possession of marijuana and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.

According to police, charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia were filed through Magisterial District Judge Gregory M. Bazylak’s office.
