Traffic Stop Results in Drug Arrest; Punxsutawney Man Accused of Possession of Heroin

handcuffsPUNXSUTAWNEY BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – A traffic stop in Punxsutawney on August 20 resulted in a drug arrest.

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, a traffic stop was initiated around 5:50 p.m. on August 20, at Center Street and Water Street in Punxsutawney.

Police say 31-year-old Raymond Guy Marsh, of Punxsutawney, was allegedly found to be in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Court documents indicate Marsh faced a preliminary arraignment at 8:50 a.m. on August 21 in front of District Magistrate Judge Gregory M. Bazylak.

He was charged with the following offenses:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor

Unable to post $75,000.00 monetary bail, Marsh was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.
