Truck Crashes in Big Run, Flees Scene

police-carBIG RUN, Pa. (EYT) — A Houston, Texas woman driving a tractor trailer was cited by police for striking a guiderail in Big Run Tuesday afternoon and leaving the scene.

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, Pamela Y. Hall, 52, was driving a 2012 Freightliner CAS north on Route 119 when it left the road and struck about 20 feet of guiderail with the side of the trailer.

Hall returned to the road and continued north on Route 119 before she was located 25 miles north of the crash by Sandy Township Police.

The tractor trailer had minor damage consistent with the impact with the guiderail along the entire passenger side, including all tires.

The utility pole appeared to be undamaged and no injuries were reported.

Hall was cited for failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
